The structure of the hymen is part of the body. In some women it can be flexible and sensitive, while in others it may not be there at all. Its function is to protect the baby from internal diseases that can be transmitted through the urinary tract, uterus or vagina.
The hymen is a membranous structure that allows women to bleed during sexual intercourse. The hymen has a thin structure. It has a small hole in the center and is located at the entrance to the vagina. The shape and characteristics of this structure vary from person to person.

WHAT IS HYMENOPLASTY?
